New York – February 26, 2009 – DataSynapse, a world leader in dynamic application service management (DASM) software, will host a webinar entitled “Running DataSynapse in the Cloud” on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 12 Noon ET. The webinar will feature a guest speaker from the Amazon Web Services team, discussing how DataSynapse customers can leverage the Amazon EC2 platform to lower the cost of running a DataSynapse environment and make it easy to add capacity on demand. Earlier this month, DataSynapse announced support for the Amazon Web Services platform and a beta program that will enable DataSynapse customers to run software on the Amazon cloud platform free of any DataSynapse charges for all of 2009. The objective of this strategy is to accelerate the adoption of external cloud computing models for mission critical business applications and lower the operating expenses for grid computing.

• How new DataSynapse software makes it easy to add cloud based resources to an existing DataSynapse environment

• Best practices for addressing security requirements, when running DataSynapse resources on the Amazon cloud

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers.
